Over 3 nights and 4 days Perry and Michelle will show you some of the best trails central Scotland has to offer, while well stocked fridges, chef cooked dinners, a wood fired hot tub and natural swimming lake will help you recover and rest at the end of each day back at Powis House.

Perry
Perry is a passionate trail runner and experienced coach who believes that trail running is for everyone—whether you’re a casual runner looking to explore the outdoors or an experienced athlete training for an ultra. As a UK Athletics CiRF (Coach in Running Fitness) and UESCA-certified Ultra Running Coach, he has guided runners of all levels, from beginners discovering the joy of the trails to ultra-runners tackling 100-mile races. Whether you're aiming to build confidence on the trails, improve endurance, or simply enjoy a running retreat in stunning surroundings, Perry is there to guide, coach, and encourage you every step of the way.
Michelle
Michelle is a UK Athletics LiRF (Leader in Running Fitness), Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer, and a successful ultra-runner, combining a love of endurance running with expert knowledge in strength and conditioning for trail and ultra runners. She understands that every runner is different—some are here to challenge themselves over long distances, while others simply want to enjoy the trails, fresh air, and community. Whether you're a hobbyist runner, a first-time trail runner, or an experienced athlete, Michelle’s focus is on helping you feel strong, capable, and confident in your running.
The Trails
The Ochil Hills stretch 25 miles from the Firth of Tay to Stirling. At 10 miles wide with peaks over 2,000 feet, they boast unique 360 degree views taking in The Trossachs to the West, the Southern Highlands to the North, Firth of Forth and Tay to the East and views to Edinburgh to the South. You can expect dramatic open moor, wooded glens, mountain streams, lochs and incredible nature as you adventure through this beautiful part of Scotland.

Swimming Lake & Hot Tub
Relax in our wood fired hot tub, natural swimming lake and Summer House with wood burner overlooking the mountains.
Accommodation
Relax in our two sumptuous, three bedroom cottages, with ample private and shared space. Choose between a double or single room, shared or private. Each cottage has shower rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living space.
