Our beautiful setting offers the perfect backdrop for you to bring your passion, guaranteeing guest groups of 6 - 12 have a magical experience, leaving invigorated and happy. We are here to help you deliver an exceptional experience for your guests. We offer dry hire or full service packages depending on the style of partnership you require.
Spaces
We have a number of indoor and outdoor spaces that are adaptable for different types of experience or retreat, ranging from the beautiful south facing dining room with wood burner and french doors, perfect for yoga, to the Summer House deck overlooked by the Ochill Hills, a great space to write, paint or practice a sunset yoga session. There are also numerous lawns and paddocks with ancient trees to explore and immerse your guests in nature. The beauty and versatility of the spaces means that you can easily add your personal touch.
Powis House Estate comprises of two tranquil, self contained cottages, Powis East and Powis Mid, offering a mixture of ancient history and modern comfort. We aim to offer guests a magical experience with everything they need to feel at home including central heating, wood burning stoves, Smart TVs, Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchens, washing machines, towels, linens and eco-friendly products. The cottages can sleep 6 at one person per room, up to 12 with sharing. The cottages can connect internally. New Shepards Huts will be ready for Winter 2025, taking capacity up to 16. Eat
Mid and East cottages have generous kitchen/diners perfect for self catering or for you to host your guests. Mid can seat 6 comfortably whilst East can seat 8 - 12. The kitchens have a connecting door which can be unlocked to allow mixing. Our Full Service packages include fully stocked kitchens with ample, healthy, local produce for breakfast and lunch, whilst dinners are cooked by a local chef, all of which will relieve some of the pressure on your in hosting.
Set amidst 10 acres of land, Powis House Estate offers your guest the chance to unwind in nature, listening to bird song, whilst watching rabbits and deer in the gardens. There are dozens of paths cut through the woods, paddocks and along the Powis Burn allowing guest to find their own space. The Summer House with wood burner, sofas and bar area overlooks the pond, natural swimming lake and wood fired hot tub, while a second hot tub can be found behind East Cottage. With so much to do and so much beauty, it's great for guests to find their own free time space.

Location
Powis House Estate is in the centre of Scotland, the Gateway to the Highlands. There are numerous motorways and train lines connecting to the whole of the UK. We're just 10 minutes from Stirling train station, 30 mins drive from Glasgow and 45 mins from Edinburgh. while Edinburgh International Airport and Glasgow International are 30 mins and 1 hr respectively. Our closest town is the beautiful Bridge of Allan, 10 mins drive, and we are served by all the major supermarkets. Our rural location, with great transport access means your guests can easily find us.
Take your guests on breathtaking mountain walks, visit medieval landmarks or offer up time to take in local golf, fishing or fine dining experiences - all situated just a short distance away. Full service packages include transport and local guides as required. The stunning and diverse nature and history of the area means that there are an abundance of orginal and accessible guest activitities.
