Sonas Studios & Powis House combine to bring you a stunning yoga retreat weekend in Stirling, Scotland.

 

London based Sonas Studios, run by Lauren Jamieson, combines traditional practices with modern techniques designed to strengthen both body and mind. More than just a studio, Sonas create community where individuals of all levels can grow, recharge, and thrive together. Whether you seek calm or challenge, Sonas invites you to move with intention and feel at home.

 

Powis House offers the perfect blend of tranquility, nature and comfort to take you away from demanding schedules and provide a transformative experience.​ Built in 1746, Powis House Estate is nestled beneath the Ochil Mountains, set amidst 9 acres of tranquil gardens, just minutes from Stirling.

Join us for an exceptional 3 night/4 day yoga retreat in one of Scotland's most historic locations, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and the soothing sounds of nature. Stay in beautiful cottages, with fully stocked kitchens, Chef cooked dinners, access to our natural swimming lake, wood fired hot tub as well as optional activities taking in the local natural beauty of the Ochil Hills.

Our retreats are for all levels, from beginner to advanced. We offer a warm, welcoming, friendly environment allowing you to hone your practice whilst finding peace, relaxation and friendship.

Sonas & Lauren

Lauren, a professional dancer from Glasgow, began teaching yoga in 2018 alongside her dance career. She has worked with elite athletes, celebrities, and children across the UK and abroad, offering retreats and classes in London and Glasgow, most recently opening her own West London studio, Sonas Studio. Passionate about yoga, Lauren has training in Hatha, Power, Yin, Mandala, and a diploma in Mat Pilates. Her dynamic classes focus on alignment, engagement, and mindfulness, helping students build strength, improve flexibility, and find inner peace.

Accommodation

Relax in our two sumptuous, three bedroom cottages, with ample private and shared space. Choose between a double or single room, shared or private. Each cottage has shower rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living space.

Dinner Chef & stocked kitchen 

Self serve organic, fresh produce from the kitchen for breakfast and lunch, and indulge in homemade, healthy and hearty dinner from on of our local partner Chefs.

Relax in our wood fired hot tub, natural swimming lake and Summer House with wood burner overlooking the mountains.

Hike the Dumyat

Join us for a hike up The Dumyat or experience one of the many staggering walks across mountains, lochs and rivers.
